Ski town vibes. Zero guilt apres ski feast. Did you know that Revelstoke has the longest chair accessed vertical in North America!
After 11 weeks traveling it’s so nice to be back home for some downtime! The morning views are beautiful and mask the very cold outside weather brrr! Gained 11 pounds; all of it in the final weeks of travel in Italy and UK so now it’s time to cleanse for a few weeks before our next travel chapter commences….stay tuned 🤙🎿⛷🙏
Happy New Year everyone! What a great way to kick off the next decade our favourite sport and the 5th consecutive bluebird day 🎿⛷🙏
Okay Via Lattea (Milky Way) just might be my new favourite ski resort. The resort is absolutely massive. It makes Whistler-Blackcomb look tiny. And it’s beautiful. AND virtually nobody skis outside the groomers so there is tons of fresh pow everywhere. I can’t stress this enough. I’m stunned. You just need Italian elbows cause the lift lines are utter chaos. And it’s so inexpensive. And the wine.
We purchased heavy ski clothing less than two weeks ago as the weather forecast was for -15. Turns out it’s zero degrees all week so I am skiing in my rain jacket as a shell. No complaints!
Greeted by tall snow banks upon first steps off the bus @2,000 meters & where we will ski for the next week. Oh, and this is also a fantastic wine region. Stoked. 🎿🍷
Amazing views taking the funicular then a short hike to the lighthouse. Lake Como below… mountains where we are heading to ski tomorrow in background.
