Daytrip to Jerash to check out the archaeological site. More ruins and lots of steps which allows for lots of items at meal time.
Explored the ruined city of Jerash today. The Roman influence is obvious. Pretty well preserved in some areas.
Already been in Jordan for 2 weeks and finishing this country off with some city life in Amman. Great city with lots of street art and stairs to climb.
It’s “White Friday” in Jordan. Don’t care what they call it, only that I got 50% off these playful aviator glasses. 🤓
Resort life for the next couple of days to keep us sane and allow as some downtime after a busy month of travelling. 1 month in and trying to figure out ideas for the next 6 weeks. Suggestions welcomed.
Swimming here for four days it’s hard to believe that Israel is just a short taxi ride away in the background. Yet we can’t visit since we’ve decide to go to Lebanon next week. If you didn’t know Lebanon won’t let you in if your passport is Israel stamped.
What an incredible 2 days. Overlooking the theatre and imagining what it was like when 30,000 residents roamed this ancient town.
Another amazing day exploring Petra, Jordan with my amazing wife @herbaystreetescape. It was quite the hike to get this selfie!
