Happy New Year everyone! What a great way to kick off the next decade our favourite sport and the 5th consecutive bluebird day 🎿⛷🙏
2019 has been quite the year! Left the grind of Bay Street and now travelling around the world with my husband @baystreetescape. Having so much fun creating our own daily adventure. Can’t wait to see what 2020 brings. Happy New Year Everyone!🍾
Okay Via Lattea (Milky Way) just might be my new favourite ski resort. The resort is absolutely massive. It makes Whistler-Blackcomb look tiny. And it’s beautiful. AND virtually nobody skis outside the groomers so there is tons of fresh pow everywhere. I can’t stress this enough. I’m stunned. You just need Italian elbows cause the lift lines are utter chaos. And it’s so inexpensive. And the wine.
We purchased heavy ski clothing less than two weeks ago as the weather forecast was for -15. Turns out it’s zero degrees all week so I am skiing in my rain jacket as a shell. No complaints!
Skiing!?! This was not the plan when we bought a 1 way ticket to Morocco, but here we are. It took a lot of research to try and find ski hill near a train station with availability for NYE.
Greeted by tall snow banks upon first steps off the bus @2,000 meters & where we will ski for the next week. Oh, and this is also a fantastic wine region. Stoked. 🎿🍷
Amazing views taking the funicular then a short hike to the lighthouse. Lake Como below… mountains where we are heading to ski tomorrow in background.
Buone feste from Lake Como, Italy!! No snow but it’s beautiful here; kinda like a smaller & more historic version of Lake Tahoe, California. And spritz vs. craft beer.
Trendy district in Milan focused on sustainable architecture. Beautiful day to go for a long walk, which was needed based on how much delicious food we are eating on a daily basis.
Milano underground street art. Almost got smoked by a car to get this photo taken by @herbaystreetescape.
