Mud brick village in the Moroccan valley was cool; reminded me of Peru. The villages use the river to irrigate their farm land. Beautiful drive.
We had a lot of fun getting lost in the shopping maze in Marrakech over the past four days. It was a challenge avoiding the motorbikes while browsing the shops!
Made it to Morocco! Sure miss flying business class, at the risk of sounding arrogant. But man we were tired! Checked into a beautiful riad (guest house) in the old town (medina), a two story structure built around a courtyard. Our room is pictured from the roof top!
Home after: 52 days, 15,600 km (9693 miles), 12 National Parks, 13 States (not counting ones we didn’t stay in). What a trip!🚙🇨🇦🇺🇸
Missing the mountains in the west as we roam cities on the way home east. Drinking a little. Seeing double; and it’s beautiful. A different beautiful. I do love street art. I’m a city boy at heart.
Colorado has been a blast! Telluride, Vail, Breckenridge – all ski towns I want to come back to in winter. Less than a week left on this roadtrip. Stay tuned to see what adventure we have planned next.
